Diocesan School Chapel
Andrew Plastering was contracted to undertake the specialist heritage plastering works as part of the seismic upgrade and restoration of the Chapel of Our Glorified Lord and St Barnabas at Diocesan School for Girls. The project was completed in September 2025 with Aspec Construction as the main contractor, alongside Salmond Reed Architects as heritage consultants, Creative ARCH as design architects, and Fraser Thomas Engineers.
Auckland War Memorial Museum
Andrew Plastering played a key role in the careful restoration of the Auckland Museum, preserving its historical integrity while refreshing its grand interior and exterior features. The project required expert attention to heritage detailing, delicate plasterwork, and precise masonry repairs, delivered to the highest standard on this iconic civic landmark.
Grafton Bridge Toilets
Andrew Plastering was proud to contribute to the restoration of the historic Grafton Public Toilets, a well-known heritage site in Auckland. The project involved careful plaster repairs, masonry detailing, and sympathetic restoration techniques to preserve the building’s character while ensuring durability for public use.
Government House External Wall Restoration
We helped preserve the exterior perimeter of Government House, preserving its historic façade with meticulous plaster repairs and masonry detailing. Using traditional materials and techniques, the project ensured the building’s heritage character was maintained while enhancing durability against Auckland’s weather.
